Columbia River crafts the plain edged blade out of 8Cr13MoV steel for a hardness of 58-59 HRC and polishes it with a bead blast finish. Model CRKT M16-01SC features a hollow grind a spear point style and the Carson flipper for both easy opening and a blade guard. The handle on this folder is made from 2CR13 stainless steel and coated in black oxide and it includes a frame lock.
