In-state person-to-person firearms transfers. We can facilitate private firearm transfers where both the buyer and the seller have flexibility in the transaction process. You have the option to visit our location together or schedule separate visits.

 

Seller’s Requirements:

Firearm
Drivers License
Handgun Transfers – Must present NYS handgun license 

 

Buyer’s Requirements:

Seller’s Information
Firearms Details (i.e. make, model, caliber, serial number)
Identification (i.e., Pistol Permit for handgun, valid Drivers License, etc.)
County Purchase Coupon and Receipt for Handgun License Amendment (example to obtain Saratoga County Sheriffs in NYS)
Complete Federal Form 4473 and NYS Background Check

Outgoing


Firearms shipped from Gunmarket to another Federally Firearms Licensed (FFL) Dealer. We only ship firearms to FFL dealers or Federally licensed manufacturers.

 

You are responsible for selecting a licensed dealer (FFL/gun shop). You must provide us with a copy of their FFL – we will also cross reference for licensing compliance. Bring the FFL document with you when dropping off your firearm. FFL dealers can email their license to info@gunmarket.co

Relevant identification – NYS driver’s license and necessary firearm permits for handguns

Incoming

 

At Gunmarket, only the following licensed entities can send us a firearm: a Federally Licensed Dealer, FFL or a Federally Licensed manufacturer.

 

The recipient must have the proper permit/ certificates/  identification/residency to take possession of the specific firearm(s).

Pick-Up Process

 

Receipt for Handgun License Amendment: You will receive a receipt that you can use to amend your NYS handgun license.


County Purchase Coupon: After obtaining the purchase coupon from your county, we will proceed with Federal Form 4473 
NYS Background Check
