The 6.5mm 123 grain Hollow Point Boat Tail was designed to fill the gap for a mid-weight high B.C. bullet for the ever-increasing 6.5mm long-range crowd. This bullet is a popular choice for long-range target and Silhouette customers. Keeping the long-range design in mind we built this bullet with a longer ogive smaller meplat and improved boat tail to preserve downrange efficiency enhance accuracy and reduce wind-drift.

While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy MatchKing and Tipped MatchKing bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing and Tipped MatchKing bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting their heavier jackets will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet Blitz or Varminter counterparts.
